Terms of Use

Wary, by Reply200 Inc. · Last updated 17 June 2026

By using Wary you agree to these terms. Please read them, especially the part about Wary being guidance, not a guarantee.

1. What Wary is

Wary helps you spot scams. You can check a text, link, phone number, screenshot, or contact, and Wary gives you a clear read along with what to do next. It also watches the emails you add for known data breaches, and can flag known scam numbers.

2. Guidance, not a guarantee. Wary can be wrong. It may flag something harmless, and more importantly it can miss a real scam. A result of "looks real" is not a promise that something is safe. Always use your own judgment, and when money, passwords, or codes are involved, verify directly with the company through an official channel you find yourself. You are responsible for your own decisions, and Wary is not liable for any loss that results from acting on, or relying on, a verdict.

3. Not professional advice

Wary does not provide legal, financial, or security advice. It is an informational tool.

4. Acceptable use

5. Free tier and purchases

Some features are free, with a monthly limit on how many checks you can run. We may offer paid features. Any purchase is processed by Apple and is also subject to Apple's terms; we do not receive your payment details.

6. Intellectual property

Wary, its name, design, and content are owned by Reply200 Inc. These terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond using the app.

7. No warranty

Wary is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reply200 Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, Wary. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use Wary means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Reply200 Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Apple's standard terms

For apps installed from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Where it gives you stronger consumer protection, that protection prevails.
